All future chamber members can apply for membership by filling out the Member Registration form and sending it to the regional organization responsible for their workplace by post or e-mail. The list of professional qualifications is included in the departmental classification on the second page of the membership form.
If the chamber membership has been terminated due to membership fee arrears exceeding six months, a copy of the bank receipt for the payment of the HUF 6,000 processing fee must be attached to the membership application, and if the membership fee is still outstanding, a copy of the receipt for its transfer.
The regional organization decides with a decision on the hiring of the professional worker within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application (Act XXIII of 2011 amending Act XCVII of 2006 on professional chambers operating in the health sector, Section 16 (3) (4) paragraph). If the applicant is admitted to the ranks of the members of the professional chamber, he shall be registered in the chamber register and issued with a membership card. The legal membership relationship – in the case of a positive assessment – is established on the date of submission of the application.
The decision to reject membership must be included in a written, reasoned decision and sent to the applicant within 15 days of the decision being made. The applicant may appeal against the rejection decision to the National Board within 15 days of receipt, which will assess it within 30 days of submission. The applicant may submit a claim to the court against the second-degree rejection decision in accordance with the rules applicable to administrative lawsuits.
